Where many plastics become brittle or 'dry rotten' with UV damage, this will not be your experience with our shrouds. The HMW material also has very elaborate UV inhibiting properties. We do more with less (but higher quality, more fitting) material. With this mentality in mind, that is why the material may not be as thick as the original. Put simply - it just has more ' give'. This material is also less susceptible to damage due to extreme temperature fluctuations for this same reason. So in regards to hail (or other) impact, our part absorbs the damage and rebounds rather than fracturing.
